Less Than Truckload (LTL)
A LTL or less than truckload is used to transport freight that does not require a full truck or trailer. Generally this shipment will weigh between 500 and 15, 000 pounds and is shipped on pallets that only require a portion of the trailer.
Full Truckload (FTL)
A FTL or full truckload is used to transport freight that requires a full truck or trailer. The max weight for this shipment is 80, 000 pounds. This load is typically shipped on pallets and will require the full trailer.
Expedited Truckload
Expedited truckloads are rush freight orders that must arrive by a specfic time. Typically, these truckloads travel a long distance and often the driver travels throughout the night and delivers the freight by the next day at the latest.
Intermodal Shipping
Intermodal shipping is when two or more modes of transportation are used to ship freight. The modes of transportation typically used includes trucks, trains, and cargo ships. There are two types of intermodal shipments which are international and domestic.
White-Glove
White glove service is a high level of service with extra attention to detail. This service typically includes taking the product inside the destination. Unloading products using a liftgate and uncrating/unboxing the freight shipment.
